The hotel has 7 conference rooms which hold up to 350 guests. This is a traditional property, yet the team has a fresh approach and a passion for providing outstanding service. You'll be preparing food and making sure it is to a particular standard. You'll be involved with the rotation of stock and organising the effective storage of goods. Apprentice Chef: How about working in Buxton's only four star hotel? The Victorian Barcelo Buxton Palace Hotel is a busy 122 bedroom hotel situated in the heart of this pretty Spa town. The hotel has 7 conference rooms which hold up to 350 guests. This is a traditional property, yet the team has a fresh approach and a passion for providing outstanding service. Through Government initiatives, Barceló Hotels & Resorts together with VT Training are looking to recruit Apprentice Chefs to work in our busy kitchen's, whilst learning at the same time. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic apprentices who have the ability to maintain a high level of product knowledge in order to produce a consistent product, the ability to take initiative and generate new ideas and importantly show commitment to the Company and the scheme. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team and communicate at all levels are essential.
To be eligible to apply for this exciting opportunity you must have a National Insurance Number, be able to work more than 16 hours a week, you must be a European citizen, you will not hold a degree or be in any form of Government funded education.
No age limits apply to this apprentice chef scheme in the UK, however, please note that restrictions apply in Scotland.
