Night Manger
to join our Management team.
Night Manager overview:
To adhere to night audit procedures as laid down by the Rooms Division Manager. Dealing with guest enquiries. Ensuring Guest comfort, safety and security at all times. Ensure the relevant systems are backed up as required. Deal with guest enquiries. Maintain consistent standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction while creating a work environment that supports organisational values.
Night Manager key responsibilities:
Receive Pass over from the Late Duty Manager.
Count Management safe and sign float book.
Deal with late check In’s & Control of the switchboard.
To ensure that the building is secure.
To ensure that the Guest Service Staff duties are carried out efficiently and all public and back of house areas are maintained to a very high standards.
To print bed sheets – listing all Guest in House.
Post all relevant bar and restaurant charges.
Generate Folio Balance and Room Rate Report.
Follow the list of Night Audit procedures and generate the relevant reports for the relevant departments.
Cash up the bar, dealing with all forms of payment.
Run the relevant back up and sign the logbook, inform Management & Accounts of any discrepancies.
Print registration Cards.
Programme Early Morning calls and organise taxis and ensure ordered newspapers are ready.
Ensure porterage is organised for groups checking out.
Count float and drop any cash taken.
Training and development of Guest Service Staff and maintain training logs.
Pass over to the early Guest Service Staff and Early Duty Manager.
Upkeep working area to a high standard of health and safety.
The ideal candidate for this position:
Must have previous experience in a similar role and demonstrated business / industry awareness.
Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
Must be standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organise and plan ahead.
Must have the ability to lead, multi-task, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment.
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have previous experience with Fidelio/Opera and Micros.
Previous experience with SAP (or with a similar system) is preferred.
Salary range for Night Manager is £15,000 depending on experience.

Assistant Manager overview:
To support the Food and Beverage & Front Office Managers’ with managing all aspects of the Food and Beverage and Front Office Departments both in the operational and sales function. The Assistant Manager will also contribute to the profitability of Food & Beverage operations through the implementation of effective cost controls and stock monitoring and maintain consistent standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction while creating a work environment that supports organisational values.
Assistant Manager key responsibilities:
Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Food & Beverage and Front Office departments, ensuring exceptional guest service from all areas.
Proactively plan to ensure department preparedness based on all an awareness of business in the Hotel.
Identify, communicate and action all sales leads. Actively encourage staff to maximise sales through up-selling, using incentives, promotions, etc.
Responsible for developing team skills & knowledge through training.
Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.
Monitor and control Food & Beverage stock, overseeing the ordering, delivery, and storage of all items.
Ensure awareness and compliance with all Health & Safety and HACCP work practices.
Ensure support of the organisational core values at all times.

Part Time HR Officer (Maternity Cover commencing March) to join our HR Team.
Purpose:
To provide a quality HR administrative support within the HR Department and deliver HR services and training to hotel employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal with any employee issues that may arise and foster relationships between HR department and employees.
Respond to all HR queries professionally and promptly.
Provide employees with information regarding Company policies, procedures and benefits and ensure that associated information and documentation is up-to-date.
Responsible for the recruitment & selection process from initial advertising to final offer stage and issuing of contracts.
Orientation of all new staff on first day, i.e. uniform, locker, forms, show around etc.
Set up and maintain HR data accurately and update HR systems (SAP) in accordance with deadlines.
Ensure correct payroll procedures are followed and employees are paid correctly and on time.
Management of uniform budget and control of uniform stock.
Monitor and record attendance and absenteeism.
To assist the HR Manger with the design, delivery and evaluation of skills training and ensure all relevant statutory health and safety training is carried out systematically and recorded.
The ideal candidate for this position:
Must have previous experience in a similar role
Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service
Must be standards driven and detail-orientated
Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
Should have CIPD accreditation or working towards CIPD accreditation
Should have excellent self-presentation
