now has an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Reservations Agent to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract until May 2010.
Purpose:
To ensure the efficient and smooth running of the reservations department, dealing with guest enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all guest enquiries are handled professionally, providing callers with comprehensive information regarding hotel services.
Ensure all reservations are accepted, recorded and confirmed in accordance with company policy and in an efficient and courteous manner.
Ensure accurate and complete entries in Opera system in accordance with established procedures.
To be aware at all times of current business targets and to focus at all times on achieving these targets.
Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Assist in the smooth running of the Reservations department.
The ideal candidate for this position:
Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
Must be standards driven and detail-orientated
Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
Must have experience using Opera or similar reservations system
Must have a good command of the English Language
Should be flexible with regards to hours
Should have excellent self-presentation
Should have previous experience in similar role

Jurys Inn Sheffield located in the city centre has 259 Bedrooms and 9 Meeting rooms and is currently recruiting for the position of:
GSS Food & Beverage Supervisor
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our GSS Supervisors team.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, have excellent communication skills and a high standard of customer service.
They must have a positive attitude towards training and development and be able to demonstrate their interest in this area and develop and motivate the food and beverage team.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential however it is essential to have previous customer service experience. This is an ideal position for an experienced waiting or bar staff who would be looking to progress their career.
This is a full time position 5 days from 7, including evenings and weekends.

Jurys Inn Sheffield located in the city centre has 259 Bedrooms and 9 Conference rooms and is currently recruiting for the position of: GSS Reception on a fixed term contract until May 2010
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, high standard of customer service, be approachable and able to work well under pressure. Teamwork is essential for this role.
They must have a positive attitude towards training and development and be able to demonstrate their interest in this area.
Experience of using a computerised system is required and a good knowledge of Opera or Fidelio would be an advantage, however training will be provided.
Main duties include check in and out of guests, answering a busy switchboard, assisting with reservations out of hours, cash handling, daily banking and general administration duties.
Working 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends.
