	porter,permanent position, starting from 20/10/2011 onwards West Lodge Park Hotel - 4 star, 59 bedroom, country house hotel in Hertfordshire, set in 34 acres of stunning gardens and the famous Beale Arboretum, yet just 12 miles from central London. We have a vacancy for a Porter to join the Conference & Banqueting Team. The hours are 45 per 5 day week, to include evenings and weekends, as per the rota. Duties include helping guests with luggage, setting up and clearing away of function rooms for private and corporate events, and serving light refreshments.  Working front of house, you will need to be able to provide a warm welcome to guests, with the ability to deal with customer's requests or complaints politely and effectively.  If you are well-presented, work well as a team member and have a good level of fitness for this sometimes physically demanding role, then we would like to hear from you.
